Here’s a well designed game for horse racing enthusiasts. There are three tournaments to play in which require various amount of money.  Once you enter into the tournament you choose a horse and place your bet.  It's that easy.

The races themselves aren't that exciting since it's just a few tiny horses going from one side of the screen to the next, but, I still liked this game. 

38i has created a pretty cool game in which you have to avoid all the other cars while driving down the road.  You're faster than everyone else so you have to anticipate where the next car will be while avoiding those directly in front of you.  If you crash 6 times you lose.

 There's really no end of the this game so don't plan on a finish line or anything.  I liked it but it got somewhat boring after 5 minutes.

Here's an inventive game by Balazs Vagvolgyi where you drive a car around different tracks in 3D.  You can choose easy or hard, change the graphics and choose how many laps you'd like to do.  Balazs' instructions say:

Use the left and right arrows to steer the stunt car. Tap on the +/- buttons to accelerate and decelerate. The penalty for leaving the ramp is the time the crane spends with lifting the car back on track. Records get registered after the race is competed. Hall of Fame is saved in cookies on the web browser. Play on easy difficulty level to enable steering assistance. Dynamic background and z-blending are disabled in the low graphics mode for smoother gameplay. If you experience sluggish performance reset Safari by holding down the Home button for several seconds until the Home menu appears then restart the game.
