For some reason this sliding tile game is not mixed up when you begin playing it. So, if you want to play this you need to mix the tiles up first. Not really much to it, but at least you can choose various pictures for the tiles.
Clear the screen by double tapping two or more of the same symbols. This is a simple but fun game that many people have made for the iPhone. I really like this version because it's shiny and runs well.
Definitely one of the better color/symbol matching games on the iPhone.
Merillian has created a simple little puzzle game here using the Flibbix icons. Simply tap the groupings of two or more matching tiles and then tap them again to remove the pieces. They have to be touching to be considered a group so plan a few moves ahead so you can clear the puzzle completely. If you have a few leftover you can always tap Reset to get a fresh set of pieces.
Flip It is a number puzzle game from 38i in which you need to sort out 6 numbers so that they're numbered in order from 1 to 6. When you begin playing hit 'mix' to get the numbers jumpled up and then begin sorting them by shifting the rows back and forth and flipping the numbers up and down. The game's somewhat of a mindbender but it's fun.
38i has created a fun little puzzle game in which you need to move a ball onto every open square without crossing your path. You can't move the ball in single squares so if there are 4 open ones in front of you the ball will go all the way to the end.
I enjoyed this and found it to be a challenging game that can eat up some time and make you think. It took me a number of tries to figure out the puzzles so don't get discouraged! Plus, there are 30 total puzzles so you'll be playing this for hours.
Under Clouds has created a fun game which is a cross between a Rubik's cube and color matching. The game instructions say:
Solve the puzzle by twisting the layers to match three or more gems of the same color together. Keep an eye out on the timebar, game ends when it runs out. Every collected gem add more time to the bar.
I liked this game because you have to be smart and think a few moves ahead while watching the clock. Once you've played it for ten or so minutes you'll get the hang of it.
Gems is a very simple bejeweled style game which uses only colored blocks. If you have a slow internet connection or want a hyper-simple version of bejeweled play this. Personally, I wished there was a little more to it but it's still fun and worth playing.
Oh, also, you'll get little popups when you try moves you can't make.
