iZoo is a very slick remake of Bejeweled that supports different icon/jewel themes. This allows you to customize how your game looks so you can play with Simpsons, Zuma, Chuzzle, etc jewels.
To swap tiles and make groups of three or more just drag your finger on them in the direction you which to swap (left, right, up, down). The game plays great and has various levels, special tiles and other cool stuff that makes this one of the best Bejeweled-style games.
As with many other games that require installation on your actual iPhone or iTouch you'll need to jailbreak the device. BUT, as soon as the iPhone App Store comes out I hope they make this available there.
You're a rat in a maze on the ultimate quest to find the cheese on various levels. You click around the map only viewing a few tiles (3x3) at a time so you can't see the whole maze. The maps start out relatively easy but as you get into the third maze and beyond they get rather tricky.
I liked this game and will probably play it a few times over just to see how far I can get. If you like maze-style games you'll love this one.
Lexitron is a great word based game in which you make as many different words as possible using the six letters provided. I absolutely love games like this and Lexitron is no exception. The main site's info says:
Lexitron is a fast-paced word game built around anagrams. The object of the game is to find as many words as you can in the time limit, but be careful-- if you fail to find at least one word that uses all six letters, the game is over and you can't move on to the next round.
If you want to play Lexitron you'll need to get the Installer.app on your iPhone/iTouch which requires jailbreaking it. I don't condone this act and be careful! :)
This game will get your mind working..and working fast! It's just like Braintrainer and has a variety of games and tasks for you. It's cool cause you can register and come back to track your stats.
I definitely enjoyed this game since it changes up and keeps you on your toes. Registration is free and they say they're working on new games and screens so I can't wait to see what's next!
This is a spin off of Jim Conway's Game of Life. It's not so much a game as a collection of cells which, based on calculations, live, die or multiply. The actual term for this is a zero-player game.
This is essentially a 'pet' on your phone. The site says:
Now you can have your own virtual super phone with MobilePet myPhone. Feed it tunes and videos, have it play mobile games and surf the web, and if it gets sick, take it to the virtual computer store.
Pretty funny. There are a number of these out right now so if you like this try the other versions as well!
