Heart Attacks isn't an amazing or heart attack inducing game. A bunch of hearts will fly around your screen while you're supposed to tap and remove them.
You also have the option to slow down, speed up or pause the piece. Pausing is cheating.
iPhoneAssassin is a meshing of a social game and iPhone geekyness. The site says: iPhone Assassin is a game for iPhone users where you virtually "assassinate" other iPhone users. To play, first sign up by pressing JOIN at the main page at iPhoneAssassin.com. This will give you your special code name, consisting of three letters and a number, such as "Alpha Bravo Charlie 1" or "ABC1". Next, click on the "Set your nickname" link to create a nickname, like "Joe the Assassin". Now, go and find someone else with an iPhone. Show them your iPhone and tell them "This is an iPhone Assassination!" Then, tell them to use the iPhone Safari browser to go to iPhoneAssassin.com so they can join the game.
I have to admit I only 'assassinated' people in my office and they looked rather confused...but I still think this is a good idea.
Poke the smileys and make them go away...another game from myHip that's just like many others from them. Not the most amazing game but if you're bored and want to waste 5 minutes this works.
There are a lot of higher quality games out there though.
This is pretty much Bejeweled without the razzle dazzle. Match the colors and get rid of the rows.
You'll start out with two colors making the first level very easy but as the levels go on it becomes more difficult. Overall, I like the simplicity of Avalanche. It's easy to understand and play.
The game says: Tap the balls before they disappear! For level 1, blast 20 balls to advance to level 2. Each level requires more balls to advance to the next level. See if you can complete all 10 levels!
Trust me, it really does get more difficult as the levels move along.
Blitz is a very straight forward game in which you want to drop bombs on buildings to break them down and avoid them with your plane. You can drop one bomb per time around the screen and your plane gets slightly lower with each pass.
It took me a minute or two until I was breaking the buildings down consistently. All in all, I'd say this is a simple, fun game to play a few times around.
That's right, the amazing Bomberman is being brought to your iPhone or iPod Touch by Hudson. The game costs $9.99 and is available through the iTunes App Store. It looks great and plays wonderfully. if you've ever played Bomberman and enjoyed that version you'll love this.
In the game, your goal is to find your way through the various mazes while avoiding enemies and bombing stuff. Definitely read the full instructions first though so you don't get confused and annoyed. Below are a few pics from the Hudson game site.
Don't be confused by this game! Do the tutorial and it'll make perfect sense. Think of it as playing with a bouncy ball in a box where you want to hit specific tiles on the bottom. Your paddle is the grey transparent circle so be sure and keep it above the ball as it comes back. Also, you'll notice small green lines on the edges which are there to help you gauge how high or low the ball is.
It's nice to see a game that really comes out of nowhere with something fun. This is a great variation on the traditional brickles game.
Brickshooter is a very smart game where you want to shoot bricks from the outside into the center to match up their colors and make them disappear. Keep the center clean so be smart with each move. If you let too many build up without matching the colors you'll lose.
If you're still confused definitely watch the tutorial when you first go to the site. It'll explain and show you how the game works in live action.
